Q) How much does it cost to become a member of a site on the Cybatrons Free Network?
A) Hold on to your head Fred...Everything on the Cybatrons Free Network member sites is....FREE! Including those services which require registration.
Q) Will my information be shared with outside parties?
A) No! Staff will do their best to protect member privacy, and will not share your information with outside parties without due legal process.
Q) What kind of gaurantee does Cybatrons staff provide?
A) Only that staff will do their best to service member needs and maintain the Cybatrons Free Network as a whole. All we ask is that you remember two things.
1. The staff are not web professionals. We have no formal training.
2. The staff's time and efforts are completely voluntary. They receive no payment whatsoever for their efforts.
Q) Who pays the Cybatrons Free Network's expenses?
A) Cybatrons Free Network is maintained through individual donations, made through websites on the network, and occasional donations from local business.
Q) How do I get a free membership to any of these sites?
A) Look in the directory for the section labeled CFN Member Sites, follow the links there to those websites which interest you. If they require membership, registration will be available. However, read each website's Terms Of Service, and any similar documents available. There may be differences between theirs and ours. Cybatrons is not responsible for the content of individual websites, or the pages found on them. Some member websites have opted to use the Cybatrons Terms of Service as their default terms.
Q) How old do you have to be to get a free membership at any of these websites?
A) We require the websites have a minimum age requirement of at least 13 years of age for membership. If they do not, then they cannot join this free network.
Q) How do I find Cybatrons Free Network services, such as forums or chats?
A) Go to the Cybatrons Links Directory and look in the directory for the section labeled CFN Member Sites, then follow the links there to those websites which interest you..
Q) What happens if I lose my password to one of the services on any of the websites on the Cybatrons Free Network?
A) Most services have a password retrieval system. If the system does not, then notify that website's staff and they will try to help you.
Q) Do you allow adult websites?
A) All public areas of member websites on the Cybatrons Free Network must be general audience friendly. We don't disallow adult websites, R rating, but we do require any questionable material they may have on their site must be restricted access. Many of us are parents and wish to help protect children from unnecessary exposure to unsuitable material. They must also display a notice that adult material may be present in some areas and a minimum age restriction notice. An adult site would carry an R rating. We do not allow porn sites.
Q) Do you allow advertisements, popups, etc. on the Cybatrons Free Network?
A) We do not allow popups, popunders, wiggly, jiggly, flashy banners, or adds for porn sites, sites promoting cruelty to children or animals, hate sites, or those promoting illegal or terrorist activity. If a website has any of these types of adds on it, it cannot be a member of the Cybatrons Free Network.
Q) What type of websites can join the Cybatrons Free Network?
A) We allow general content websites offering good free services to become members of the Cybatrons Free Network. We do not allow the following websites; pornographic or open adult content websites, sites promoting child pornography, cruelty to animals, hate sites, sites promoting illegal or terrorist activities, websites that do not offer any good free services or products.
Q) How do I get my website on the Cybatrons Free Network?
A) Make sure your website meets the minimum requirements for membership;
Please submit only finished websites. Remodeling now and then is okay, but having it under first time construction is not. If your website meets the minimum requirements for membership in the Cybatrons Free Network, submit your request for membership to cybatrons@hanginoutforums.com or cybatrons@yahoo.com; subject CFN Website Submission. When we receive your request, someone will look over your website, and if it is approved, a link will be placed for it in the CFN directory. Our goal is to help lead people to free sites offering good free, useful, and interesting services and software.
Q) Can my site be removed from the Cybatrons Free Network?
A) Yes. Either at the website owner's request, send to cybatrons@hanginoutforums.com or cybatrons@yahoo.com; subject CFN Website Removal, or if it is found to be in violation of the minimum requirements for membership, or adult content guidelines. Website owner removal requests must come from the same email used to submit the site to the CFN. If a website owner changes emails, they need to notify us, so records can be updated. This is for their own protection. Removal requests from unvalidated emails will be ignored. This is to help protect website owners from being wrongly removed.
